Art Jakarta Gardens 2026 - Reinvigorating the City Park through Art & Collaboration

Art Jakarta Gardens 2026 returns for its fifth edition from May 5–10, 2026, at Hutan Kota by Plataran, Jakarta, bringing together 26 galleries from Indonesia and across Asia. First launched during the pandemic, the outdoor art fair has since become a key annual event, offering a fresh way to experience art through open-air exhibitions, installations, and public programs.

A highlight of this year’s edition is the Sculpture Garden, featuring over 30 works displayed throughout the park, showcasing prominent Indonesian artists such as Sunaryo, Nyoman Nuarta, and Arkiv Vilmansa. The event also expands its public programming with music performances, talks, and interactive sessions, enriching the overall visitor experience while fostering engagement with the local creative community.

Supported by lead partners Bibit and BCA, the fair emphasizes the intersection of art and lifestyle, with special presentations and exclusive visitor benefits. Collaborations extend to various partners, including iForte Energi, which presents a solar-powered installation by Sigit D Pramono, and TACO, contributing sustainable materials and workshops focused on recycling.

Beyond exhibitions, Art Jakarta Gardens 2026 highlights performance art and multidisciplinary showcases, featuring works curated by leading institutions such as Bakti Budaya Djarum Foundation. The event aims to strengthen Indonesia’s art ecosystem while making contemporary art more accessible, immersive, and relevant to a wider audience.
