Art Jakarta 2025: Where Southeast Asia Meets the World of Contemporary Art

Art Jakarta is back this year, bringing together the best of Southeast Asia’s creative energy with a global perspective. From 3–5 October 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, the fair will once again transform the city into a hub of artistic exchange, welcoming collectors, galleries, and art lovers from around the world.

The 2025 edition will feature 75 galleries representing 16 countries, showcasing everything from paintings and sculptures to photography, installations, and digital works. Visitors can expect to discover both internationally acclaimed artists and fresh new voices that reflect the diverse and ever-evolving landscape of contemporary art.

This year, Art Jakarta is also marking a milestone with new international collaborations. Renowned platforms like ArtReview Asia, Larry’s List, and Art+ Magazine are partnering with the fair, bringing a richer dialogue and deeper insights into today’s art ecosystem. These partnerships highlight Jakarta’s growing role in shaping conversations about collecting and cultural exchange across borders.

Beyond the gallery booths, Art Jakarta offers an exciting Public Programme—a lineup of talks, performances, book launches, and discussions that dive into the ideas behind the art. Dedicated sections like SCENE, which spotlights artist collectives and studios, add another layer of discovery for visitors seeking fresh perspectives and bold experimentation.

More than an art fair, Art Jakarta 2025 is a celebration of creativity and connection. Whether you are a seasoned collector, an emerging artist, or simply curious about contemporary culture, the fair offers an inspiring space to explore, engage, and be part of the global art conversation.
